Who We Are
A Lifeline for the Community
The Pala Blood Forum is one of the most active and reliable community-based volunteer organizations in Pala, Kerala. Our primary mission is to ensure that no life is lost due to the unavailability of blood.
Operating as a critical bridge between voluntary blood donors and patients in urgent need, we work seamlessly across the Kottayam and Pala regions. What sets us apart is our robust network, functioning with the active support of over 32 voluntary organizations and local institutions.
Our Legacy
The Journey Since 1988
The seeds of this great initiative were sown in 1988 by Sri. Shibu Thekkemattam (President & General Convener), when he donated blood to his former teacher. This single act of compassion led to the formation of the ‘Kozhuvanal Raktadana Sena’ with the help of a few friends.
Our Mission
To organize voluntary blood donation camps, promote health awareness, and maintain an active 24/7 emergency donor coordination system.
Our Vision
To build a compassionate society where the urgent medical needs of every individual are met through the power of community support.
Our Partners
Collaborating with St. Thomas College Palai, Mar Sleeva Medicity, Lions Club, NCC units, and 32 other local organizations.
